Global CRO Chiltern has earned two Clinical Researcher of the Year (CRoY) winners in the U.K., joining the five finalists previously announced from the U.S. Sarah Jones earned the Gold Pharma in the CTA category and Helen Greenleaf earned Bronze as an Aspiring CRA. Both Chiltern Source professionals are working with Novartis.
Contract research organizations (CROs) have become more effective in managing working relationships with investigative sites during the past two years, according to a new CenterWatch survey, yet the average CRO continues to fall below performance expectations in many of the areas investigators consider most critical for study success.
Last year’s healthy pace of CROs filing IPOs, the best in 10 years, is expected to continue in 2015, along with private equity (PE) investments in pharmaceutical outsourcing companies.
